Fagun faces a-two count charge of impersonation and obtaining N70million by false pretence. Fagun A Nigerian man, Tope Jimi Fagun has been arrested and arraigned for allegedly duping the All Progressives Congress N70 million. Fagun was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday before Justice Aisha Kumaliya of the Borno State High Court in Maiduguri. Fagun faces a-two count charge of impersonation and obtaining N70million by false pretence. The defendant allegedly presented himself as Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu to Alhaji Bukar Dalori and collected the money meant to aid the 2020 All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship campaign in Edo. The offence is punishable under sections 1(1)(b) and 1(3) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act, 2006.
